I'm better now. Band camp was FUN!
During the bus ride up, we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail. We got up there practically an hour or so earlier than expected so we got some shopping time. We had to walk close to fifteen minutes just to get to the mall though. And when we did get there, Sarah knows where we headed. Lol. We spent the whole time in the music store. Bet Mr. Mouland had fun ;).
Anyway, when we went back, it was lunch time. Because on my A of R form, I said I was Jewish, the hotel made special meals for me and Daniel :S. I could totally have eaten the food! Anyway, instead of subs I got pasta. I think they just threw some of the leftovers from the subs in the pasta actually. Not to say it wasn't good. But I like subs better.
After, we had free time until our classes started. We were such nerds. We sat in a circle with a chair in the middle and ended up all putting our feet up on it. I still have the bruises.
Our clinitionist was really good. We had three hours of it though. I was a little antsy by the end. Still, it was worth it.
Afterwards, we got to take our stuff up to our rooms. It was fun because we all discovered the balconies. I almost jumped onto the chaperones' balcony! :O. Some of the guys were throwing toilet paper over the over-pass. Idiots.
After we got settled in our rooms, we went down for supper. I didn't know I was supposed to get ANOTHER special meal, so I ate what everyone else was having. Tee hee. But I ended up not being able to eat the yummy potato thing!!! :(.
For our night program, we got to go bowling. Since we were at practically the farthest end of downtown it took us maybe an hour to get there. And of course it started raining/snowing on our walk. I was soaked by the time we got to the bowling alley.
Inside, we were split in half. I got to play bingo bowling while almost everyone else (friends) went to the arcade room (which cost money goddamnit). It was fun. We had to bowl the scores that were on the sheet. The first team to do so (inside the time limit) won. 12 was our last score. It was HARD! A bunch of us came close, but Craig was the one who got it in the end. What a relief!
Then, the chaperone on our team bought us all drinks because we won.
By the time we went home, it had stopped raining (thankfully). It was dark and the Banff Springs Hotel looked HUGE. I took a picture. So pretty!
It was completely dark by the time we got back to the hotel. We played one round of President, but we had too many people.
Afterwards, we went back to our rooms and then up to the common room to chill with the guys. Naughty Sarah and Stass changed into their pyjamas. (Sarah looked sexier though, but SHHHH don't tell I said that!!)
So we chilled for a while, and played an intense game of stella ella olla. And David hit me in the nose. Graaar. Lame huh? Getting hurt playing STELLA ELLA OLA!
Geib made coffee but apparently he wasn't supposed to, so all the coffee and tea got confiscated from all the boys' rooms. After a while, we got sent to our own rooms and were told not to go on the balconies. So I chilled with Sarah, Alison, Wendy and Vic until I got kicked out (by the chaperones). Then, Devon called and told us to go to channel 32 because there was "free porn". it was a show called Plastic Makes Perfect actually. Dumb guys. So then Stassia was getting a little wild (little incident with a thong and schantarra's face). We ate a bunch of jelly bellies too and were calling everyone.
After a while, we turned off the lights, but then were called practically every hour (more than once) by Devon. And apparently next door had a worse night than we did! But of course they had Sarah in it who is Miss Popular and Alison who is...loved by Sam. And I heard Devon and CO up on the balcony at three in the morning. They didn't get caught.
So yah. That was pretty much band camp. Oh, but then next morning we had to get up at seven and Stass wouldn't so Schantarra messed up their bed, and opened all the curtains and was jumping on the bed yelling, "Get up, get up, you must get up!"
Then, she called what she thought was Mitch's room but was actually Michael's. And it was soo funny cuz she just yelled into the phone, "GET UP! GET UP! YOU MUST GET UP!" he was like, "Who is this?" "Schantarra, who's this?" "Michael." Schatarra: "Oohhh. Oops. I meant to call someone else. Well, are you up?" Michael: "Yes." Schantarra: "Good. bye!"
So we went down to breakfast which I actually got to EAT! Then we had time to kill before full band practice. Our conductor was REALLY GOOD! Daniel Bartholemough. So we had three hours of that, then lunch and then piled on the bus home on which we played Truth or Dare. It was pretty lame.
But it all ended good except for it starting to snow when we got back to Calgary and me being a total grouch at home due to lack of sleep.
All in all though, it was tons of fun. Now I can't wait for Friday. HORSEBACK RIDING!!!!!
